One name, seventy years
Five surveys of the same county — the village plans of 1858, the directories of 1874, 1923 and 1926, and the atlas of 1904. Put a surname in and see it in all of them at once, in order, with the gaps left showing.
The 1858 plans and the 1904 atlas are transcribed record by record, so a hit in those carries a place you can go and look at. The three directories are machine-read from the scans and are searched as text, so a hit there is a line on a page. The reading is imperfect in all of them; spellings drift between one survey and the next, and where this page cannot join two forms it offers them under the box. Nothing here is a claim that two entries are the same family — that judgement is yours.
